How to send money abroad

  • Step 3: When proceeding with the shipment, we will ask you to login to your online account or create a new user account.
  • Step 4: Enter the details of the person receiving the transfer. Remember that this information will have to be exactly the same as that appears on his/her identity document with which this person will identify herself in MoneyGram in her country of residence.
  • Step 5: Pay your transfer with your debit or credit card and you will get a confirmation email with the transfer reference number.
  • Step 6: Provide the reference number to the recipient of your money transfer and he or she can approach any MoneyGram agent in their area, after ten minutes. Keep the reference number of the transfer carefully and do not give it to anyone more than the person receiving your money.
